Important Information Concerning Your Pest Management Program
Health and Safety Precautions
Notification: Inform us of any pets, allergies, or health concerns before treatment.
Sensitive Individuals: Those with allergies should stay away for up to 24 hours post-treatment and ensure thorough ventilation.
Emergency Contact: If contact with treated areas leads to health concerns, call the Poisons Information Centre at 13 11 26.
Food Safety: Cover all food items and utensils during treatment.
Pet Safety: Remove pets from the premises during treatment and until treated areas are dry and odour-free.
Avoid Contact: Do not touch treated surfaces until the insecticide has dried, which could take up to 24 hours.
Ventilation: Close all windows and doors during external treatments; keep them closed until odours dissipate (up to 24 hours).
Protective Gear: Wear overalls, gloves, and a respirator when accessing treated roof voids or subfloor areas. Clean or dispose of gear immediately after use.
Follow Instructions: Adhere to any verbal instructions provided by our technicians.
Water Tanks: Notify us about any water tanks. No treatment will be conducted around unsealed tanks.
Payment Terms and Free Service Period
Program Adjustments: Changes to structure or environment may require program modification.
Payment: Full payment is due at the start of service unless otherwise arranged in writing.
Free Service Period: Conditions for free services are void if payments are not made promptly.
Remedial Treatments: Provided at no cost during the free service period if notified immediately of infestations; applies only to affected areas.
No Liability for Damage: We are not responsible for damages from past, current, or future pest activity.
Scope of Treatment: The program covers only the pests specified in the proposal.
Treatment Details and Liability
Approved Products: We use only products approved by relevant Australian authorities.
No Liability for Property Damage: Not liable for staining or damage to property from treatments.
Concrete Work: No liability for damage to concealed services during concrete drilling or cutting. Clear plans should be provided to avoid damage.
Ineffective Treatment: Program may be ineffective if recommended hygiene and structural changes are not implemented.
Termites and Timber Pests
Exclusions: The program does not cover termite or timber pest treatments.
Recommendations: We advise regular timber pest inspections in accordance with Australian Standards (AS3660.2-2000). Visual termite inspections can be arranged upon request.
Disclaimer of Liability to Third Parties
Third-Party Liability: Liability is limited to the named client; third parties use information at their own risk.
