Are your pest control products safe for pets and children?
Absolutely. We use Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA)-approved products and follow strict safety protocols. Treatments are low-toxicity and safe once surfaces are dry. Always follow the “Before we arrive:” and “When we arrive:” advice given in your Appointment Scheduled email and always follow any advice given by your pest management technician.
How often should I schedule pest control maintenance?
For the best level of control for most homes, we recommend:
Quarterly general pest inspections and treatments
6 monthly termite inspections (minimum 12 monthly)
Some well designed, tidy houses can enjoy a comfortable level of control with 6 or 12 monthly general pest treatments while other high-risk properties (near water, bushland) may benefit from monthly visits.
Book your initial treatment and talk to your pest management technician to make a plan for your home and advice on how you can get the most out of your treatment.
What preparation is required before your team arrives?
To get the most out of your pest treatment, please:
Please clean any areas which will be subject to pest treatment, this can include and is not limited to: Floors, Kitchen Cupboards, Laundry, Underneath Beds, Garage, Living Spaces, Pantry etc.
Please mow lawns prior to treatment where possible as this can allow for better inspection of possible ant nests and more effective treatment being applied to the soil.
Secure food items in airtight containers, store pet food away and remove bowls from treatment areas.
Please ensure easy access is provided for the technician to treat any areas involved in your service including unlocking and clearing access to; side gates, outbuildings, roof space manhole access points, etc.
You will receive and Appointment Scheduled email which will provide further information about what you should do before and when we arrive.
How do you handle white ants?
Our termite control process includes:
A thorough inspection to the latest Australian Standard 3660.2-2017 and a comprehensive report including findings, risks present on your property, recommendations and a quote where applicable for further work to reduce the risk of infestation.
A treatment plan is provided for your consideration which may include treatment to termite activity and installation of a termite management system such as chemical barriers or baiting and monitoring systems.
Installation of the termite management system is carried out. We install a notice in your meter box or under your kitchen sink and a treatment certificate which provides information on the works carried out and where applicable, details on the free service period offered by our company.
We continue regular annual inspections and monitoring of the system where applicable.
Can I combine services for a discount?
Yes. We offer combined packages. Bundled treatments save you time and money, ensuring broad-spectrum protection. For residential customers we have some combined treatments outlined on our residential page. If what you’re looking for isn’t listed, just contact us.
